For people of all ages, there is a variety of things to do and see at Parliament buildings. A range of information and advice is available at the welcome desk. You can learn about the buildings and their fascinating history, visit the souvenir shop, and take a guided tour through the buildings. Stroll through the beautiful grounds at your own leisure. Guided tours are available most days of the year and admission is free. As well as learning about the buildings and grounds, significant new artworks are to be found throughout Parliament. Some are the work of some of New Zealand's finest artists, including the spectacular three-storey high artwork located in the Galleria. For a chance to see history in the making and for something a little different, be sure to visit the Debating Chamber when the House is sitting.
