FAQ

Do you have Car Parking?

Yes, Quest on The Terrace has a limited amount of on & off-site car parking and MUST be organised directly with the Quest to ensure a booking. There is also an additional cost of $20.00 per night including GST.

How central are you to the city?

Quest on The Terrace is located in the CBD part of town which makes it ideal for those attending business or leisure as we are (walking):
05-08 Mins:      To the waterfront (TSB BANK ARENA, FRANK KITTS PARK & WELLINGTON HARBOUR)
08-10 Mins:      To TE PAPA & Circa Theatre.
10-12 Mins:      To Central Wellington (Courtney Place, Cuba Mall & Main Restaurant/Bars & Cafes) and Parliament (Beehive)
We have lots of brochure's, maps and friendly advice so come and see or call us and we will do our best to help.

Can you put an additional bed in the studio apartments?

Due to comfort, health and safety reasons we can not allow more than 2 adults sharing a studio apartment.

What about any of the other 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom Junior or 2 Bedroom Apartment?

Yes, we can put ONE additional roller bed in the lounge of any of these 3 apartment types - This also has an additional cost of $30.00 per night and must be pre-arranged with the hotel.

Do you supply a Continental Breakfast Pack  and or offer Restaurant Charge back facilities?


Yes - For the Continental Breakfast Pack we can supply one at an additional cost of $8.00 per person per pack and we also have restaurant charge back facilities with  selected restaurants. For more information please contact the reception who are more than happy to help.

Do you have a 24 hour reception?

Our reception hours are:
Monday - Friday:         7am - 8pm
Saturday - Sunday:    8am - 5pm (These hours also apply to public holidays & from the holiday period of 15th December - 15 January, Then back to normal trading hours)
If our reception has closed before you check in then we do have an after-hours check in procedure which once your booking is made it will supply you with a code and details of how to obtain your key.

So due to your reception hours, should I need assistance outside of these hours - what happens/ or should I do?

That's no a problem at all, even though our reception closes there is an on-site duty manager available 24hours. There is 4 ways to contact us:

  1. There is an intercom service outside the building which if you dial "1000" you will be connected directly to an after-hours service (there are instructions on the glass doors beside the intercom).
  2. Use the reception phone on the desk which is available 24 hours & just by picking up the receiver you will be connected directly.
  3. Use the telephone in your apartment by dialing "0" to be connected.
  4. From any phone you can either dial "0800 50 80 22" or "04 4 470 1820" and be connected.


How about wake up calls?


Yes - we offer a 24 hour wake up call service. All you have to do is contact reception any time to organise.

What about broad band internet?

Yes we do have HARD WIRED broad band internet or dial up available (additional charge for both). This must be organised with the reception during reception hours, HOWEVER if you are a late arrival - please call & notify us during operating hours and we will set up the account, instructions and anything else you need for internet usage.
